The ultimate tasty snack

I created these energy balls when I was in the early months of motherhood, craving energy and comfort. They are quick to make, super easy, nutritious and taste soooo good.


Cacao and coconut energy balls

100g pure unsweetened cacao buttons (I got mine from Sprout Health Foods, Newquay) and 50ml of maple syrup gently melted together.


In a bowl, mix 3 tablespoons tahini, 3 tablespoons of oats and 3 tablespoons desiccated coconut, then add the melted cacao and mix all together.


Roll in to balls, and then roll in desiccated coconut. Pop in the fridge to firm up.


Snacking without the junk.
